2007 Gibson Guitar of the Week #40 ’84 Flying V Reissue
A Silverburst recreation of the 1984 Flying V I design, released as Guitar of the Week #40.
Gibson’s Guitar of the Week #40 revisited the no-pickguard Flying V design associated with the 1984 model. Its Silverburst finish gave the reissue a more unusual look than the catalog’s familiar black and white versions. The release belongs to Gibson’s weekly limited-model program.
