2012 Gibson ’68 Reissue Flying V
A mahogany, stopbar-equipped version of Gibson’s classic second-generation Flying V design.
The ’68 Reissue carried forward the mahogany-bodied Flying V design that Gibson had returned to production in the late 1960s. Its larger pickguard, conventional bridge and stopbar distinguish it from the original Korina string-through V and the modern no-pickguard Flying V I. Finish and pickup details varied across production years and market listings.
