2003 Gibson Split-Headstock Flying Vs

These two guitars share Gibson's split-headstock Flying V design, inspired by an original mid-1950s concept illustration for a split-headstock Explorer and the split headstock used on the 1957 Korina Futura. The surviving records for these examples document Natural on the Historic Korina model and Candy Apple Red on the Custom mahogany model; I could not verify additional factory finishes for these two specific versions. Each gallery thumbnail links directly to its guitar.
